About
I'm Nishat Shahriyar. I write about WordPress SaaS marketing, systems thinking, and what it actually takes to grow a product team from the inside.
For the past five years I've worked at WPManageNinja, the company behind Fluent Forms, Ninja Tables, Fluent Support, FluentCommunity, FluentCart, FluentPlayer, Paymattic, and FluentBooking. I started as a content writer in 2021, moved into SEO content strategy, then led a content team and ran marketing for Fluent Support (10K users). Now I own marketing for Fluent Forms (700K users), Ninja Tables (80K users), and FluentPlayer (newly launched) — running content, SEO, lifecycle email, and AI-augmented workflows for a five-person team.
That's the day job. This blog is where I write down what I've actually learned doing it: the systems, the mistakes, the stuff that worked because it was boring and repeatable, not because it was clever.
I'm also active in the WordPress community. I run 3 newsletters: WP More for WordPress & WP community news, SERPLabSEO for SEO and marketing updates, a personal curated one on tech, ceator economy, pop culture and business at nishishere.com, and a blog Nishnama, where I write in Bangla, my native language.
Most of what shows up here sits at the intersection of WordPress, SEO, AI-augmented content systems, and personal branding — partly because that's my job, and partly because most marketing advice for SaaS companies skips the operational layer that actually makes it work.
This blog also doubles as a journal — thoughts and opinions on life, marriage, raising a kid, work, and whatever else I find interesting at the time.
Short version: I build content systems for WordPress products, and I'm trying to get better at explaining how, in public.
